This iron makes light work of a horrible chore! So efficient and a delight to use. Highly recommend this model. Been using it for well over a year and its still absolutely perfect.

I have had Phillips Azur irons for years but over the last few months I have had to take two back to the retailer to be exchanged as the sole plate became very brown and the marks couldn't be removed. After the second time and getting a refund I bought direct from Phillips and purchased an iron that didn't have a temperature control and would work at the correct setting for the material. Unfortunately this wasn't hot enough for my ironing and I contacted Phillips who collected my iron and replaced it with this model which is excellent. I have rung Phillips a few times over the year and the customer service people have been very helpful.

THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE IRON IS THE BAD DESIGN AS REGARDS THE WATER TANK IS SO SMALL.

Excellent light weight steam iron. Particularly like how easy it is to fill the water tank - straight from the tap! Love the deep purple colour too!!!

Door de 2600 Watt samen met veel stoom strijkt dit strijkijzer prima. Minpunt is de greep, de stoomknop zit in de weg als je het strijkijzer normaal beetpakt, en de sproei-knop is niet bereikbaar met de duim. Misschien is dit apparaat ontworpen voor mannenhanden? Verder is het snoer zo kort dat je zowat tegen het stopcontact aan moet staan om het uiteinde van de strijkplank te kunnen halen.

Bought to replace my Philips 2540 iron which had started to splutter and spit after 7 years. Straight out of the box this iron did the same. It also either left white calcium deposits on dark clothes or brown rusty drip marks on white items which then had to be washed again. Iron is also badly designed. Water spray button is too far away to reach without changing grip position of hand, fingers keep accidentally catching temperature dial moving it too easily and the same with the slider on top of the handle for the steam. Overall extremely disappointed so have gone back to my old iron.
