What can I say about this toothbrush besides the fact that it’s amazing and it’s everything I was looking for! It looks very expensive and elegant, the black gives it even more elegance than other colours. I have been using this for a month and my teeth have never been cleaner. You can use what program you’d like from the 6 programs it has and it uses 3 intensities. My favourite thing is the smart pressure feedback, as it glows green for optimal pressure and purple if you press too hard. The battery holds more than 14 days, I don’t even remember when I charged it, plus if you’re travelling you can charge it via the case. It’s very comfortable to use, I’ve never had cleaner teeth and my gums are healthier. It also has an app which is very useful for a better brushing technique. Another thing that I like is the brush head replacement reminder. Everything about this toothbrush is amazing, I believe it’s worth the price.

This is my first Phillips toothbrush to try. I will get straight to the points. I gave it a good 4 weeks trial before reviewing. Brush head. Bigger head and covers more area, making it easier and faster to clean. The handle. Has got a digital screen. Swipe with your thumb to get to the needed settings, press the middle button to pick the settings. Other Accessories. My set included a charging lead, a charging base, a glass, travel case and the toothbrush. No extra brush heads. Settings. There are few modes to choose: clean, deep clean, white, gum health, sensitive and max care. And each mode has 3 settings for brush strength: low, medium & high. The bottom part has the light that gets green for good pressure and purple for not enough or too much pressure. Which actually made the process fun. You can also see the feedback with the map of your mouth showing which areas need more/less pressure. Charging. Took quite a long time to fully charge first time. But once charged you get the display showing you have 178 sessions (89 days if you clean twice) and the percentage of the battery left. Each cleaning session lasts 2,4 minutes. Which is not entirely true, I had 90% charge remaining after 1 week of use and less than 50% after 1 month of usage. But still this is impressive. You can always keep the brush charging in the glass, I just wanted to test how long it would last without the charger. Overall impressions. This definitely made the whole morning routine more fun. But the most important thing I have noticed, after only 1 week of using it my gums stopped bleeding completely. I had this problem with all my previous toothbrushes, no matter how thoroughly I cleaned my teeth the occasional bleeding was there and the hygienist said it is because of buildup bacterias. And because it cleans so well my breath stays fresh till my next meal. Will I recommend it? Absolutely! Worth every penny!

This philips diamondclean electric toothbrush comes with an all in one toothbrush head, charging glass and a travel case. It has a next generation motor technology that delivers up to 62,000 brush head movements per minute. It also has a touch screen display, 6 brushing modes (clean, deep clean, sensitive, max card) and a 3 level pressure light ring at the bottom. I connected it with the app for real time tracking. It has a brushing session timer and also tells you how many sessions you have remaining with the brush head. My teeth feel clean and fresh after each use. Brushing experience feels gentle rather than being harsh on my gums. The glass charger adds a bit of an aesthetic sense to the overall product.

I am surprised how beautiful and well designed it is. It work like a clock. My teeth are happier than ever before. It’s very easy to use and clean the teeth. The power is controlled and it’s an amazing feature. You can charge it on two ways, it has the charge able case as well which makes it a big advantage when travelling. I highly recommend and I love it .

I love this brush and the visual aid that helps make sure the pressure applied is just right. My teeth have never looked cleaner and I find it very easy to use. Battery life seems good and I like the charging method, which makes everything easy.

The Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 8500 has completely upgraded my brushing routine. From the first use, my teeth feel noticeably cleaner, smoother and fresher, while the brushing sensation is powerful without being harsh on my gums. I notice that when I go to floss now, there is less residue, almost none in fact. I really like having different cleaning modes and intensity levels, as it means I can choose something gentler for my more sensative molars, or a more thorough clean when I want it. The smart pressure feedback is another excellent feature because it lets you know when you're pressing too hard and helps improve your brushing technique over time. It glows green when you're applying the correct pressure, and purple when you're slightly over or under. The design also feels very premium. The handle is sleek and comfortable to hold, and I love the glass charging system, it looks much nicer in the bathroom than a traditional charging stand. The charging travel case is another big plus and makes taking the toothbrush along much more convenient. Battery life has been excellent too. Philips states that it can last up to 14 days on a full charge, and in my experience, it very much lives up to this claim. I've only charged it once between receiving my toothbrush and writing this review. The display and brush timer are also useful little touches that make the whole experience efficient. I usually select the normal clean mode which has a default 2 minute timer, though I usually press the start button again to brush a little more. The Sonicare app is a nice addition if you enjoy tracking your brushing and getting feedback, although I don't think it's essential for everyday use. The toothbrush itself does a great job without needing to rely on the app. The Sonicare is a premium product, and the price certainly reflects that, so it is definitely an investment. But, it's worth every penny in my opinion, this feels like a "buy it for life" sort of investment.

I’ve been really impressed with the Philips DiamondClean 8500. It gives a noticeably thorough clean and my teeth feel incredibly smooth afterwards, without it feeling too harsh on my gums. The different settings are useful, and the pressure sensor is a great reminder if you’re brushing a little too hard. The battery lasts really well between charges and the toothbrush itself feels sturdy and premium. It’s definitely an investment compared with a standard electric toothbrush, but the quality and results make it feel worth the extra cost.

I've had the Philips Sonicare Diamond clean 8500 for around a month now and it's easily the most powerful and thorough toothbrush I've used. The toothbrush is fantastic but not perfect in design, but what it does is better than any other toothbrush I've ever used. Right out of the box, the build quality feels and looks premium. The accessories that come with the toothbrush really outline that. It's sleek and feels a good size in your hand. It's not overly heavy and feels premium. The toothbrush comes with a charging glass (first time I've ever heard of this, but a great idea) which is USB connected, a charging (when plugged in) travel case, a A3 all-in-one head and the toothbrush body. The toothbrush as mentioned, is superb and gives a noticeably improved clean on my previous older generation Philips Sonicare toothbrush and I'm honestly over the moon with the 8500. There is a Sonicare app that you can download which utilises Bluetooth to connect to the toothbrush, this provides a brushing guide as feedback on how good your session went, and keeps track of your past performances which gives you a moving target to always improve on. I personally love this feature and every brushing session is an attempt to get the perfect brush - this can only be a good thing. The toothbrush also features a Smart Pressure Sensor Ring which illustrates the feedback of pressure applies from the toothbrush head, this is fantastic - I tend to use the phone app whenever I brush my teeth which provides live feedback, but if I'm not using the app then I'm watching the end of the toothbrush for the colour indicator of how much feedback I'm applying when brushing. So far the toothbrush will comfortably run for two weeks without charge. The charging glass that comes with the brush looks superb on the bathroom shelf, and the USB cable makes it easier and safer to power too. My only slight gripe is with the travel case, and I think Philips have missed an opportunity, but also made margin for error by A) not making the travel case a charging case B) providing a proprietary cable which is a two prong plug to a USB plug - as this is a travel case this cable could be easily lost and not easily and cheaply replaced. This could cause an easy room for error if the cable is lost during travel. The price point of the toothbrush is also a tough one to take on given it's valued around the £399 point. This is very expensive for a toothbrush in my opinion, albeit this toothbrush is the best I've used so far for quality, features and accessories. This is a premium toothbrush and reflects the premium price point in it's quality.

The DiamondClean 8500 HX8513/12 offers a solid brushing experience with good maintenance features. Cleaning is straightforward, and the battery life is excellent, making it very portable for travel. The build quality feels premium, using durable materials that suggest longevity. However the price point might be a bit high for some. Overall, it’s a high-performing electric toothbrush with a sleek design.

This is the no doubt the best toothbrush I have ever used - there are several moves including gum health, several speeds to optimise your clean, my teeth and gums feel so healthy and the charging glass is an excellent product. Really pleased!
